What we solve
For founders who need a Lovable, v0, Bolt or Cursor prototype made into a product people pay for.
SaaS and platform build: from €6,000
Start with this: Your prototype works in a demo, not for paying customers. For small businesses that need a site live in two to three weeks, not three months.
Website and landing page: from €1,500
Start with this: Your website doesn't bring in enquiries. For agencies that need delivery under their own brand, NDA-clean.
SaaS and platform build: from €6,000
Start with this: You've won a build your team can't staff. For companies that need a senior engineer on the product, without hiring one.
Monthly partnership: from €750/mo
Start with this: Nobody senior owns the product after launch. For teams that need one workflow automated, or AI put to work on a real task.
Ad-hoc engineering: €90–150/hr
Start with this: Work done by hand that software should be doing. For companies that need search, content and launch work, led by Throughbolt.
For companies that need a team around their product, led by Throughbolt.
Scoped per project
Start with this: You need a team on the product, not one hire at a time. Not sure which it is? A Production Review tells you in three working days for €490, credited in full if you book a site or build within 30 days.
Ask for a reviewRate card
A written review of your prototype or current site: what will break at launch or under real users, a prioritised fix list, and a fixed quote for the build. Delivered in three working days.
The checks are the ones this site is held to.

This site is the reference build: no tracking cookies, checkable from your own browser.
Start a project →A live build every week
A production SaaS MVP or a larger platform — accounts, billing, the core workflow, and the infrastructure to run it. Fixed price against a scope agreed in writing before anything is built.
from€6,000
Whenbird is the reference build, payments in test mode; we screen-share its code.
Start a project →Ongoing development and ownership after launch: feature work, fixes, dependency and security updates, monitoring, and releases. Three-month minimum, then month to month.
from€750/mo
The checks are committed code, and we run them on the first call.
Start a project →Evidence
There are no clients yet, so here is the code instead: products built in-house to run our own businesses, and the first call is a screen-share of whichever of these is closest to what you need.
Internal product · pre-launch · payments in test mode
A booking platform where businesses publish their availability and customers book, with paid bookings settling to the business, in Stripe test mode until live payments open.
Deployed · throughbolt.com
The site you are reading, the most honest reference build for the website tier, since you can check every claim here from your own browser.
Also a React Native app on the same pipeline.
Principles
Process
Four fixed points, the same on every engagement. The dates are the part worth reading — each one is something you receive, not a phase we are working through.
A 30-minute call, then deliverables, milestones, price, and payment structure in writing. You approve it before anything is built, and the number does not move unless the scope does.
A staging URL you can open and use, from week one — not status decks. It exists so the first chance to say 'this is not what we wanted' is week one rather than month two, while a change is still small. The tests and typechecks run from the first commit.
Domain, DNS, SSL, hosting, and the deploy pipeline set up in accounts you own — so nothing about going live depends on us still being here. Where an app store is involved, the submission and its assets are part of the build rather than a phase after it.
Anything that shipped broken is fixed for two weeks at no cost. Then either we keep building on a monthly partnership, or you take it in-house with a written handover. Both are planned at the start. Neither is a cliff.
About
Throughbolt is built as a system: deploys run on automation rather than on somebody remembering, and the engineering is on the hook when it breaks.
That is checkable rather than asserted, which is the reason the studio builds its own products. They include Whenbird, a booking SaaS whose Stripe payments run in test mode until live payments open, built on the stack below and on the same scaffolding a client engagement inherits. It is where the parts every project needs get built once, rather than rebuilt at your expense.
Next.js, React and TypeScript on the web, Postgres and Prisma behind it, Stripe for payments, React Native and Expo where a project needs mobile, and GitHub Actions.
Before you ask
Yes, and it is work we actively want. Taking something built in Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit or Cursor from 'the demo works' to software that real customers can depend on is scoped as a rescue rather than a rebuild, and it usually costs less than starting over. The work is normally the same three things: the data model, the parts that handle money or identity, and everything that only fails under load or on a bad connection.
We use AI coding tools, currently Anthropic's Claude, under commercial terms that do not train on your code, and we will tell you which tools were used on any piece of work. Your confidential information and personal data never go into a tool whose terms allow training on it. Every line delivered is reviewed by the engineer, who stays responsible for it. Before work is committed, type checking, unit tests, linting and an import check run, and an automated WCAG 2.1 AA check runs against every public route and fails on a single violation. A project is accepted only when its automated tests pass, its public routes pass those accessibility checks and its core workflow completes end to end. These checks run locally rather than on a hosted build server, we rerun them in front of you on the call, and an automated accessibility check is a floor, not an audit or a certificate.
A fair question to ask anyone, so here are the terms rather than a reassurance. The first payment reserves our time, and it is not refunded if you end the project simply because you changed your mind. It is refunded if we materially break the agreement and do not put it right within 14 days of your written notice. From the first week you get a live build at least weekly, so you can judge the work early, and either side can end a project on 10 business days' notice, paying only for the work done up to then. If you would rather start smaller, we will scope the smallest useful piece of the project and do that one first.
You do, milestone by milestone. The code lives in repositories and accounts in your name from day one, and our rights in each milestone pass to you when its invoice is paid; until then you can review and test it. General tooling and patterns we bring with us stay ours, and you get a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use them as part of your project. We will not knowingly include an open-source component whose licence would make you publish your own code, unless you agree in writing. The law on copyright in AI-assisted code is unsettled, so the transfer covers whatever rights exist rather than promising that every line is copyrightable. We never name you or show your project without your written consent, and white-label agency work is never listed in our portfolio.
Fixed-price projects are invoiced 50% when the agreement is signed and 50% on acceptance. Platform builds are split 40% on signature, 40% when the core workflow is live and 20% on acceptance. Invoices are payable within 7 days by bank transfer, and work starts when the first payment arrives. Monthly partnerships are invoiced monthly in advance, with a three-month minimum and then 30 days' notice on either side. Prices are in euros and exclude VAT, and the payment schedule is written into the order you sign before any work begins.
Continuity is designed in rather than promised. Source code, hosting, and the domain live in your accounts from day one, not ours — you can revoke our access this afternoon and carry on. Everything needed to run and deploy the project is configuration committed to your repository rather than knowledge in somebody's head: the build steps, the deploy lane, the tests and the monitoring are all reviewable, and runnable by any competent developer without us. Partnerships run month to month after the three-month minimum, either side can end with 30 days' notice, and ending one includes a written handover rather than a cliff. No vendor of any size can honestly guarantee availability, so the question worth asking all of them is what you are left holding if it stops. Here it is everything.
Start a project
You do not need a spec, a budget, or a decision. A few sentences about what you need is enough to get a straight answer on fit, price, and timeline.
A real reply from the person who would do the work — including a straight 'we're not the right fit' if that's the answer.
A 30-minute call to scope it. We screen-share the codebase behind the work on this site rather than showing slides.
